S3 COURSE
Graphic Communication= communicating visually. The more leisure time, socialising, shopping and working that we do online, the more important it is that we understand how the way information is presented (layout of text, images, colour, shape, pattern etc) can influence us.

Graphic Communication will enhance your visual communication skills and knowledge of drawing techniques and their suitability for Graphic Communication projects. You will gain confidence and dexterity in the use of software and apply specialist skills in developing printed and digital communications.
You will learn about the 3Ps of Graphic Design, Preliminary sketches, Production drawings and Promotional materials. You will learn about the elements and principles of graphic design and how to use these in desktop publishing.
You will use freehand sketching, drawing instruments and computer software drawing to show objects pictorially and orthographically. You will use Computer Aided Design (CAD) and explore its application.
